NEXT STePS LEARNING CENTER
Next Steps Learning Center is a locally owned and operated early childhood education program proudly serving families in Chaska, Chanhassen, Carver, and Shakopee. Our state-licensed centers provide high-quality care and education for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. We are open Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to support the needs of busy families.
Our thoughtfully designed centers feature spacious classrooms that allow children to learn, play, and explore comfortably throughout the day. Each location also includes an indoor gymnasium where children can stay active year-round while developing important gross motor skills through movement, play, and physical activity. To support healthy growth and development, nutritious snacks and hot lunches are prepared on-site and served daily at no additional cost to families.
At Next Steps Learning Center, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Through our research-based curriculum, nurturing relationships, and play-based learning experiences, children develop confidence, independence, social-emotional skills, and a lifelong love of learning.
As an independently owned program, we take pride in building meaningful relationships with the families we serve. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing exceptional care, open communication, and enriching experiences that help children thrive. We recognize that every child is unique, and we strive to create a welcoming environment where each child receives the individual attention, encouragement, and support they need to grow and succeed.
Located just off Highway 5 and Park Road, our central location makes our program convenient for families of Chanhassen, Eden Prairie, Victoria and more! Our center is in a private cul-de-sac that provides natural views and privacy. Our secure building includes 7 spacious classrooms and a large gymnasium for indoor play. Our playgrounds are recently remodeled to include new equipment and clean, safe artificial turf.
Conveniently located at the corner of Chaska Boulevard and Audubon Road and operating since 2010, we have been a staple in the Chaska community for over 10 years. We serve families of Chaska, Carver, Victoria, Shakopee and beyond. Our updated center includes 9 classrooms and a spacious gymnasium. Our renovated playgrounds feature safe, fun, age appropriate equipment and artificial turf surfacing.

Our Carver opened in late 2022 at the corner of Jonathan Carver Parkway and Highway 212. Our expansive facility includes spacious classrooms with large windows for natural light, an indoor gymnasium, and four outdoor playground spaces.

Thank you for considering us as part of your child's early learning journey. As both a parent and the owner of Next Steps, I understand how important it is to find a place where your child feels safe, loved, and excited to learn each day.
At Next Steps, our goal is to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically through meaningful relationships, hands-on learning, and joyful exploration. I am incredibly proud of our exceptional teachers and dedicated management team, whose passion, experience, and commitment help create a positive and enriching experience for every child and family we serve.

A: Yes. There is a $10 family discount per week for multiple children in the same family. *Discount applies to families enrolled full-time.
Q: Is there a family discount* for multiple children?
A: Yes. We have an open door policy and parent participation is always welcome. Parents are invited to visit the Center at any time during the Center’s hours of operation.
Q: Can I stop in to visit my child during the day?
A: The Center is open all year round with the exception of holidays. Holidays that fall on Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday, and holidays that fall on Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.

A: Monday through Friday from 6:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Q: What are the hours of operation?
A: In Chaska we are located at the intersection of Chaska Boulevard and Audubon Road. In Chanhassen we are located in the Chanhassen Lakes Business Park just East of the intersection of Highway 5 and Audubon Road. In Carver we are near the intersection of HWY 212 and Jonathan Carver Parkway. In Shakopee we are located near Canterbury park on Winners Circle Dr.

A:No. Next Steps Learning Center does not require fees to register your child.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: No. Extracurriculars such as music program, Spanish language, technology program, nutrition program, baby sign language, summer camps, and on-site and off-site* field trips are included in the tuition. *Off-site field trips apply to pre-k classrooms according to our discretion.
Q: Are there extra fees for my child to participate in extracurriculars?
